Douhouse is an independent studio. Each app here does one thing, keeps its data on your phone wherever it can, and asks for as little as it can get away with.

How these are built

Offline first

Most of these apps hold their records on the device and keep working with the phone in airplane mode. Where an app does sync, that is stated on its own site.

No account to start

Very few of these ask you to sign in before you can use them. Opening the app is the whole setup.

Nothing sold about you

No advertising SDK, no attribution SDK, no selling of personal information — in any of them.

One thing each

Rather than one app that does everything badly, a small app per problem, with its own site explaining exactly what it does.
